New Wave Offshore Energy successfully completed DP Proving Trials on the Xenos Marine LLC TX-10,000 DP Class 3 Heavy Lift Vessel, and she is ready to get back to work offshore. After two months in dry dock, countless maintenance hours by a professional crew, a full refit of all eight thrusters, and various DP upgrades, the vessel performed just as it did brand new out of the shipyard 15 years ago.
For New Wave Offshore Energy founder, Kyle Eddings, this was a full-circle moment.

New Wave Offshore utilized DP subject matter experts throughout the whole process, including meeting attendance, CAM/ASOG updates, DP Operations Manual rewrite, ABS Class management, FMEA and Trials program creation, and onboard attendance during the first lift.
