Megan Eddings has a degree in Chemistry and a Specialization in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia. Before joining New Wave Offshore Energy as the Chief Strategy Director, Megan invented two patent-pending products and started two companies. She always focuses on doing what is best for humanity and the environment. In everything Megan does, you will always experience her positivity, joy and ingenuity.

With Megan’s background in entrepreneurship the past seven years and a background as a successful medical equipment sales executive for the previous 14 years, she has leaned into her innate skills of always finding or creating a solution to a problem: focusing on putting together the best team, setting specific targets and milestones and making sure the customer receives the absolute best customer service.

As an entrepreneur, Megan has been featured in Forbes, Inc. Magazine, NASDAQ and, most recently, Live on Fox News in NYC. Megan is a guest lecturer at Rice University, The University of Virginia, and The University of Houston. Strategy is not about trying to fit New Wave Offshore Energy’s solution into a customer’s need, it is about creating the best solution for the customer’s need, pulling in specific resources, skillsets, and experiences.

Mayor Turner, of Houston Texas, named May 24th “Megan Eddings Day” for her philanthropy work. She was also voted Top 50 Most Influential Women in Houston and Top 40 Under 40 Business Women. When Megan is not working, she absolutely loves traveling with her family, spending as much time as possible with her husband Kyle and their two rescue dogs, Betty and Rupert.
