New Wave Offshore is pleased to announce the appointment of Narold Orcena as its new Technical Director. Narold brings over 25 years of experience in marine operations, dynamic positioning (DP) assurance, offshore project management, and marine warranty services.
About Narold
Throughout his career, Narold has held critical roles in offshore projects, including as Project Coordinator/Superintendent for FPSO hook-ups and mooring installations, Marine Warranty Surveyor for bulk cargo operations, and Senior Marine and DP Consultant for engineering and marine consultancy firms.
His expertise spans complex subsea installations, heavy lift operations, pipelay projects, and wind turbine and cable-lay activities. Narold has also served as Tow Master, overseeing FPU towing and mooring installations, and has been a trusted Client Representative for accommodation and construction vessels, providing crucial marine and DP assurance.
Narold is an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute, a member of the Society of Offshore Marine Warranty Surveyors, and an IMCA-accredited DP Trials and Assurance Practitioner, reinforcing his technical proficiency and leadership within the industry.
