About Narold Orcena

Narold is an experienced Master Mariner and Dynamic Positioning Operator with years of experience and exposure in various capacities on offshore operations, projects, and salvage/wreck removal operations. He has been designated as a Project Coordinator/Superintendent for three mooring installations and the hook-up of F(P)SOs offshore Vietnam. 
 
Additionally, he served as a Marine Surveyor for vessels loading cargo in bulk in the Mississippi River, conducting a wide range of cargo, hull, and machinery and terminal damage surveys for P&I Clubs, charterers, ship owners, and stevedore companies.
 
An engineering and marine consultancy company later employed him as a Senior Marine and DP Consultant, where he mainly served the offshore oil and gas industry in the US Gulf of Mexico and partially overseas. He had a diverse scope of work on various marine projects and DP operations. 
 
He actively participated in (E)TLP Projects in the Gulf of Mexico, providing Marine Warranty Survey services, as well as Marine and DP Assurance for the initiation and installation of suction piles, PLEMs, Oil & Gas Flowlines, Umbilicals, PLETs, ILSs, TSJs, Risers, Spool Pieces, and Flying Leads.
 
Following that role, he worked as a Senior Marine Advisor for a company specializing in offshore/marine crane inspections, DROPS, RBI, and NDT on MODUs and FP(S)Os. Additionally, he offers support for drilling rig acceptance audits and inspections.
 
Narold is continuously learning and harnessing technology to effectively and efficiently execute tasks. He is also very passionate about photography, video editing, drone flights, and my professional qualifications and skills.
