Puneet has 35 years of experience in the management and engineering of oil and gas projects ranging from $10 million to $1.8 billion in value. From 2008 to 2019, he served as the Vice President of MODEC’s FPSO Project Development group, reporting directly to the CEO in Houston, which entailed managing the engineering, procurement, project controls, project management, operations support, marketing, and sales groups (30-120 personnel).
During his tenure, his team won 21 Floating Production Storage & Offloading (FPSO) projects with customers such as BP, Conoco, ENI, Equinor, Maersk, Petrobras, Tullow in Angola, Australia, Brazil, Ghana, Mexico, North Sea & Senegal.
The EPCI values ranged between $500 million to $1.5 billion, and the total combined asset valuation of the 21 projects exceeds $30 billion. The company tripled in size in terms of projects executed, equity invested, and personnel employed (4100 in 2019), making it the number one FPSO owner/operator in the world.
